A Conversation with Ven. Tenzin
Q&A Session
Q&A Session
What does it take to leave some things behind and walk the monastic path — for over forty years?
Born in Australia, Ven. Tenzin's story begins not in a monastery, but on the road. As a young backpacker, a chance encounter with Buddhism changed the course of her life forever. She took robes, found her home at Kopan Monastery in Nepal, and has been walking the path with dedication and heart ever since.
Join us for an intimate Q&A session where Ven. Tenzin will share openly about her journey — and more importantly, about the questions that really matter. The ones about practice, doubt, and the Dharma that we rarely get the chance to ask.
Bring your real questions. Things like:
What do you actually do when the mind won't settle?
How do you keep faith when practice feels dry or distant?
What does it mean to have a teacher — and how do you know when to trust?
How do you live with impermanence without being paralysed by it?
Is monastic life the only "serious" path, or can householders go all the way?
What do the teachings say about fear, grief, and the hard moments of being human?
This is a rare and open space — no question is too basic, too personal, or too bold.
