Ven. Tsultrim hails from Singapore and is a long-time member of the FPMT centre there - Amitabha Buddhist Centre (ABC). Her journey with Tibetan Buddhism began 24 years ago, born from a wish to explore the spiritual side of life. The inspiration drawn from her spiritual teachers led her into years of receiving teachings and completing retreats. Ven. Tsultrim took ordination in 2009 from His Holiness the Dalai Lama in Dharamsala. At ABC in Singapore, she has served on its Executive Committee, and taken on the roles of puja chanting leader, newsletter editor and digital creator.
As an FPMT Basic Program graduate and FPMT registered teacher, Ven. Tsultrim teaches introductory courses at ABC, including Discovering Buddhism. She has also engaged with the international FPMT community: as a teaching assistant in the Basic Program at Jamyang Buddhist Centre in London, UK, and taught online for the Thubten Norbu Ling Centre in Santa Fe, USA. Ven. Tsultrim is also the Southeast Asia regional representative for ordained members of the International Mahayana Institute (IMI).
During her lay life, she worked in diverse fields ranging from TV journalism, corporate training, to healing therapy, following a path of learning, creating, and reaching out to others.
