Boundless Love, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity

Boundless Love, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity
with Geshe Thubten Sherab
A foundational Buddhist meditation for opening the heart without limit
At the heart of the Mahayana path lies a simple aspiration: may all beings be happy, free from suffering, never separated from joy, and held in equanimity. Known as the Four Immeasurables—love, compassion, sympathetic joy, and equanimity—these four qualities form the bedrock of bodhicitta, the awakened heart that reaches beyond our usual circle of care toward all living beings.
In this teaching, Geshe Sherab guides students through this profound practice with the clarity and warmth of someone who has lived it. Ordained at Kopan Monastery at age nine and trained for over two decades in the great monastic universities of Nepal and Tibet, Geshe-la brings both rigorous scholarship and lived realization to these teachings—having served as Head Master and acting Abbot of Kopan, and as resident teacher guiding students across four continents for more than two decades.
No prior experience needed. Just a willingness to open the heart a little wider.
